Stencil along the Cherry Creek Trail in Denver.
This is a no frills/straight forward guide for those of you looking to make your own wall mounted bike hanger but don’t feel like spending a bunch of dough.
WOW, I can’t believe how much attention this is getting, thanks everyone!
I’m on the 2nd floor, no one will be stealing my bike through the window 😉
Another cheap and easy recipe. Maybe not the most nutritious, but gives you fuel to burn out on the trail and will score you many points at your LBS.
1 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
5 c. Special K cereal
1 c. chocolate chips
Combine sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Add peanut butter and cereal. Press in a 9”x13” pan. Melt chips and spread over bars.
One of my favorite parts of cycling in the mountains is coming down through a town at the foot of the hills. When riding or relaxing in these towns the average onlooker will crane their necks to have a longer look at these mountain men and women. Over the past couple weeks I’ve become a little obsessed with climbing. The allure of climbing shares many characteristics as cycling or more specific classic mountainous cycling. Both represent pure class concerning etiquette and sportsmanship in those who participate. The Enormocast and The Dirtbag Diaries are doing some great things for the outdoor community. I’m terrified of heights so therefore taking to climbing may be out of my reach at the moment but the stories that are told in these podcasts concern anyone who goes head to head with the mountain.
